Nagios-Plugins for Monitoring NetApps Buffer Cache, FlashCache and FlexCache
As described in WP-7107, 'Optimizing Storage Performance and Cost with Intelligent Caching' NetApp uses a multilevel approach to read caching.

- The first-level read cache is provided by the system buffer cache.
- NetApp FlashCache® provides an optional second-level cache.
- The third-level read cache is provided by NetApp FlexCache®, which is part of Data ONTAP® at no additional cost. This technology fits mostly into large installations like render-farms.
The Cache-Bundle provides Nagios-Plugins for all three caching-technologies and consists of the following plugins:
Plugins monitoring the system memory (buffer-cache, NVRAM)
Plugins for monitoring FlashCache (PAM II)
- FlashCache - (read help)
Plugins for monitoring FlexCache
Currently all the cache-plugins are in a pre-alpha state.
