Vserver-Check
Checks the status of data-vservers.
Usage
$ check_netapp_pro.pl Vserver -H <host> [-s <vserver>] [--state=operational-state|admin-state] [...] [--help]
Description
This check gets the status of a data-vserver and returns OK if it equals 'running'. Returns CRITICAL if it is not running.
All non-data vservers are silently skipped.
As of DataONTAP 8.3 a vserves operational-state can be checked or its
admin-state. This check defaults to verify the operational-state which will
result in an UNKNOWN exit if not provided by a filer runnning an older
DataONTAP version. In that case you can use --state=admin-state
to still
get a result.
Prepared to check name-server-switch, security-style, nis-domain and other aspects. Please send us feedback, if you are interested in such an enhancement.
Simple Examples
Check all vservers for their operational-state.
Check all vservers for their admin-state.
Check only svm_vie-mc vserver.
Same as above, but precise.
Advanced Examples
Hint: The input for advanced examples is shortend. Replace the '...' below with ‑H <your filers ip or host-name>
Check all vservers for their operational-state but skip any stopped if the stop-reason equals 'sync_destination_and_switchover_not_done'
Same as above plus print the stopped but skipped vservers to stderr for inspection.
Check all vservers for their operational-state but skip any stopped if the stop-reason equals either 'admin_state_stopped' or 'sync_destination_and_switchover_not_done'
