LunLatency-Check
Checks a luns latency or operations/second.
Usage
$ check_netapp_pro.pl LunLatency -H <host> [-z avg_latency|...] [--help] [...]
Description
This plugin checks various latency- and ops-counters per lun
A list of supported counters is printed via the --counter
switch.
Hint: Calling the getter with the switch --discover=counters
will explain each available counter in detail.
Simple Examples
List all available and supported counters on the target system including their unit.
Check the average latency (default-counter) on lun1. Warn if latency is greater than 10 ms.
Note: The per-lun latency is measured in milli-seconds in contrast to the per-volume latency (checked by PerfVolume) which is measured in micro-seconds.
Nearly the same as above but shorter. Could be ambiguous. Please look into the advanced examples in the Usage-module for even more possibilities of the --include
and --exclude
switches.
Check the average latency (default-counter) on all luns.
Check the average latency (default-counter) on all luns, but not if their name contains 'finance'.
Check the read latency on lun1. Warn if latency is greater than 10 ms
